As just mentioned by my fantastic partner in crime, we were fortunate to spend the day with Kim & Darren, as they exchanged their wedding vows. This wedding was a ton of fun; the groomsmen & bridesmaids were a blast to be around…however the bride and groom definately stole the show. Kim was unbelievably beautiful: side swept hair embellished with a white feather clip…and the boots…oh those blue boots (I really want a pair). Her groom was dashingly handsome & halarious! What a beautiful day!

Spring has sprung!

I couldn't agree more with Krista….there is nothing better than being outside on a beautiful day, shooting. I had the pleasure of photographing a fun family, here in Rocky Mountain House. This family originally from Cape Breton, just welcomed a brand new baby girl (their third) to their family. Little Nicolas, the girls' cousin, who visiting from back east, was quite possibly the most photogenic little boys I've ever met. What a beautiful family! Thanks again Tasha, for a fun afternoon!

It's the most wonderful time, of the year…summertime; which means lots of weddings! I can't wait. I love weddings & I also love engagment sessions! Last Saturday I headed out East of Red Deer to shoot Kim & Darren…photographically speaking! This couple was so much fun! Kim was very inviting, so friendly and had killer boots! Darren, a very quick learner, has a warm, genuine smile & his love for Kim is not hard to pick up on! It's clearly evident that this couple head over heels for each other. I was honored to spend a Saturday afternoon with them, and Horse (yes, that is the horse's name!).

Yes, it's Thursday; which is only significant because it preceeds Friday. Today, I thought I would post some images I have been feverishly working on, for my upcoming photography competition. It's been forever, well a least a few months, since I've posted anything. I hope you enjoy these photos. I will report back on the results of the May 13 competition. Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a most wonderful, safe and happy holiday! Christmas is always so busy, it that you need a holiday, from your holiday! But here's hoping you were able to find some down time!

These past fcouple of months have been sooo hectic for me and my family (my husband and Diesel, our K-9 "son"), as we are in the midst of building on our land, with the hopes of moving in this month. It always seems to take longer than anticipated, but them the breaks!

Boxing day, I did a family shoot, a chilly one at that! It was a change of pace, as there was no young children. Although the father did his best to act like a child at times, just to keep me on my toes. We shared some good laughs, despite the weather being a little brisk!

A while back, I had the complete pleasure to photograph little Hayden. He was one of the most photographic children I have ever come across. He just loved to pose for the camera. His facial expressions were just priceless. What fun we had!

Tis’ the season…for family photos…

Last week, I did family photos for a very fun, beautiful family. We had a great time, playing in the leaves and enjoying the sun. I love shooting in autumn: the colors and the smells are so vibrant. It really is my favorite season…along with spring, and summer (and well, sometimes winter!).
